Heart disease is the #2 killer in Canada. Most people don’t know their risk.

High cholesterol, insulin resistance, and chronic inflammation don’t have symptoms. You feel fine — until you don’t. And in British Columbia’s public health system, you won’t get a full cardiometabolic panel unless your doctor has a specific reason to order one.

Our mobile cardiometabolic test in Vancouver brings the lab to you. A certified phlebotomist visits your home or office for a professional venous blood draw covering 9 biomarkers — including advanced cardiac risk markers that most standard panels never include.

What’s Measured

Total Cholesterol Your overall cholesterol level. A starting point, but not the full story.

HDL Cholesterol The “protective” cholesterol that helps clear LDL from your arteries. Higher is generally better.

LDL Cholesterol The primary driver of arterial plaque buildup. Most strongly linked to heart attack and stroke risk.

Triglycerides Blood fat levels linked to heart disease, metabolic syndrome, and insulin resistance.

ApoB-100 A more precise measure of cardiovascular risk than LDL alone. ApoB counts the total number of atherogenic particles in your blood — you can have a normal LDL and still have dangerously high ApoB. Increasingly considered the gold standard cardiac risk marker.

Lp(a) — Lipoprotein(a) A genetically determined cardiovascular risk factor that affects 1 in 5 people and is almost never tested in routine care. Elevated Lp(a) significantly increases lifetime risk of heart attack and stroke — and you cannot change it with diet or exercise. Knowing your number is the first step.

HbA1c Your 3-month blood sugar average. The gold standard for assessing diabetes risk and glucose control.

Fasting Insulin Reveals insulin resistance before blood sugar becomes abnormal — one of the earliest detectable markers of metabolic disease.

hs-CRP High-sensitivity C-reactive protein. Detects low-grade systemic inflammation linked to cardiovascular risk, even when cholesterol looks normal.

Who Is This Test For? Anyone with a family history of heart disease, diabetes, or stroke. Anyone over 35 who hasn’t had a full lipid panel. People experiencing unexplained fatigue, weight gain, or sugar cravings. Those wanting to track the impact of diet and exercise changes. Anyone interested in longevity and metabolic optimization.

Why Choose Mobile Over Mail-In? The mail-in version ($360) uses a dried blood spot finger-prick kit. This mobile version ($700) sends a certified phlebotomist for a venous blood draw — the clinical gold standard. Venous draws provide a larger sample volume and are the same collection method used in hospitals and clinical labs. If you prefer professional collection, want the most reliable results, or simply don’t want to deal with self-collection, mobile is the right choice.

What You’ll Receive A physician-reviewed report with all 9 markers, reference ranges, risk interpretation, and actionable guidance. Delivered securely by email within 3–10 business days.

How It Works Order online. We’ll contact you within 1–2 business days to schedule your appointment. A certified phlebotomist arrives at your home or office, performs the blood draw in about 10 minutes, and handles everything from there. CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited lab analysis.

Where Is Mobile Phlebotomy Available? Currently available in Greater Vancouver, Kamloops, Prince George, and southern Vancouver Island. Expanding across British Columbia soon.

What Happens After You Get Your Results? Your report clearly explains your risk profile. Abnormal findings trigger direct physician outreach. Telehealth consultations are available for anyone who wants a deeper dive into lifestyle changes, supplementation, or whether further testing is needed.
