These Services are intended for residents of British Columbia and other Canadian provinces where permitted by applicable laws.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 19 years old (the age of majority in British Columbia) or the age of majority in your province of residence to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Services Description

Sapere Health provides direct-to-consumer access to lab-grade health testing for informational and wellness purposes. You may order certain tests online where permitted by Canadian law. Options include at-home sample collection kits, walk-in partner labs, or mobile phlebotomy within British Columbia and select areas. Tests are processed by accredited laboratories in compliance with applicable Canadian standards. Results are delivered via your secure online portal, with easy-to-understand explanations.

3. Important Medical Disclaimers

• Informational Purposes Only: The Services, including test results and any explanations, are for informational, educational, and wellness purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
• Consult a Healthcare Professional: Always consult a qualified healthcare provider (such as a physician or nurse practitioner) for interpretation of results, diagnosis, or treatment decisions. Do not disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice based on information from Sapere Health.
• No Doctor-Patient Relationship: Use of the Services does not create a doctor-patient relationship with Sapere Health, its partners, or any reviewing professionals.
• Limitations: Test results may not detect all conditions, and false positives/negatives can occur. We focus on preventive and wellness testing; we do not provide emergency services or testing for acute conditions.
• Regulatory Note: Certain tests may require a referral from a healthcare practitioner under British Columbia’s Laboratory Services Act and related regulations. Where direct access is not permitted, we will inform you and facilitate appropriate options.

4. Ordering and Payment

• Orders are binding upon placement.
• Prices are as listed on the Site in Canadian dollars; we reserve the right to change them.
• Payment is required in full at checkout. We accept major credit cards and other methods displayed.
• Services are self-pay and not billed to provincial health plans (e.g., BC Medical Services Plan).

5. Sample Collection and Testing

• Follow kit or lab instructions carefully. Invalid samples may require retesting at your expense or a complimentary re-kit at our discretion.
• We are not liable for user errors in collection or delays in shipping samples.
• Turnaround times are estimates; delays may occur due to laboratory processing or other factors.

6. Results and Consultations

7. Refunds and Cancellations

• Orders may be canceled before shipping for a full refund.
• No refunds for completed tests or shipped kits, except where required by law or for invalid samples (at our discretion).
• Refunds processed to original payment method, minus any non-refundable fees.
